Important Notes
- Iowa has a closed Primary which means voters will vote on either a Democratic ballot or a Republican ballot. If the voter votes a ballot and is not currently registered with that party, their voter registration will be updated to that party’s affiliation. If the voter wishes to change their registration back, they may do so once the election is closed and certified.
